Explore the legendary City of Carcassonne

Your day begins inside one of Europe's most spectacular fortified cities.
Accompanied by your licensed guide, you'll stroll through the narrow medieval streets while discovering the stories that shaped Carcassonne from Roman times to the Middle Ages. Rather than simply showing monuments, we bring history to life through the people who lived here—the merchants, pilgrims, soldiers, Cathars and kings who transformed this remarkable city.

Standing beneath its imposing towers and double walls, it's easy to understand why Carcassonne remains one of France's most iconic landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Discover the Canal du Midi

After exploring the medieval city, it's time to slow down.

We'll head to the peaceful banks of the Canal du Midi, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the greatest engineering achievements of the seventeenth century.

During a relaxed stroll beside the canal, you'll discover the remarkable story of Pierre-Paul Riquet and the extraordinary project that connected the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea. Your guide will explain how this masterpiece transformed trade, travel and everyday life throughout the region.

The calm waters, elegant locks and tree-lined towpaths provide the perfect setting to appreciate one of France's greatest engineering achievements.

Lunch by the Canal

Lunch is never just a stop during the day.

It's an opportunity to relax, enjoy regional cuisine and soak up the peaceful atmosphere beside the Canal du Midi.

Good food, local wines and great conversation are all part of the experience.
There is no rush.

Meet the People Behind the Wines

In the afternoon we'll leave the city behind and head into the vineyards surrounding Carcassonne.

Rather than visiting large commercial wineries, we prefer introducing you to passionate family-owned estates where wine is still crafted with care and personality.
Walk through the vineyards and cellars, meet the winemakers, hear their stories and discover what makes this corner of Southern France such an exciting wine region.

Whether you're an experienced wine lover or simply curious to learn, every tasting is relaxed, accessible and enjoyable.
