How to get to the Languedoc-Roussillon
The Languedoc region is well served by many nairlines many of which offer low cost flights. Our nearest airoport is Carcassonne and reghuilar flights operate by Ryanair. The TGV will bring you to the city of Narbonne and if you prefer to drive there is great access to the region using the autoroutes.
By Air
The Languedoc has many airports served by the low cost airlines:
Carcassonne – fly from Cork, Dublin, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool and London-Stansted with Ryanair
Beziers Cap d’Adge – fly from Bristol and Luton with Ryanair
Toulouse, Perpignan & Montpellier – many airlines fly to these airports including Ryanair, Easyjet, MBI Baby and British Airways.
By Train
The French rail network is excellent in both efficiency and getting you there on time. If you are travelling by Eurostar we recommend you plan your journey via the city of Lilles as the TGV leaves for Montpellier and Narbonne from the same station. You can also join the TGV in Paris (Gare du Lyon) to Montpellier, Béziers and Narbonne, with a direct service at least once per day.
By Car
Driving to Carcassonne from Calais will take approximately 10 hours.
