One of the joys of visiting Languedoc-Roussillon is the glorious wine and food produced here.
The famous Toulouse sausage, Cassoulet first created in Castlenaudary, duck confit, foie gras and delectable charcuterie from the Montage Noire. Goat and sheep cheeses, crunchy olives and fine oils, honey from every part of the region, ripe tomatoes of very shape and colour and ripe figs and juicy peaches plus many other fruit and vegetables that will make your mouth water. We have a range of tours and activities to help you discover all of these things.
Languedoc Food & Wine Weekend Dates August 3, 4, 5 & 6
This fabulous fully inclusive weekend tour is an exploration of the incredible food & wine of the region. Dining
We run regular food & wine matching dinners in private dining rooms in Carcassonne, Limoux and Caunes-Minervois which are a great way to learn more about the wines and food of the region and experience how successful pairings can increase your enjoyment of a meal. Wendy will be your host and will entertain you over an aperitif with a talk about wine and how to taste it followed by a 4 course meal with a specially selected wine for each course. Food & Wine Tastings
Why not arrange an entertaining evening of food & wine tasting in your holiday home. We will bring a superb selection of Languedoc-Roussillon wines and a selection of local produce including cheeses, charcuterie, honey and fruits. You will also learn about the various appellations of the region and different wine styles and how to pair food & wine successfully.
Price per person starts at person €30 and we require a minimum of 4 people.
Wine Buying
From buying good value wine to enjoy during your stay to buying wine to take home with you
our expertise and knowledge of the region will ensure you buy the best at the right price. We offer wine buying tours to vineyards of choice in any of the districts of Languedoc-Roussillon.
We also offer wine tastings in your holiday home where not only can you buy wines you will also learn about the wine districts in the Languedoc and the various styles produced here. It’s a great way to entertain friends and neighbours. We recommend you organise your tasting as early in your stay as possible so that the wine you buy can be enjoyed throughout your holiday.
We charge €15 per person (minimum 6 people or €90) to cover the cost of the wine samples we bring and the wines we sell range from just €5 per bottle.
Gourmet Picnics
A wonderful way to enjoy the food and wine of the region is with a picnic made from local and seasonal produce. You can choose to collect it or have it delivered (within 15k radius of Carcassonne) or we can organise the whole thing including transport to our secret and beautiful picnic spots in the Minervois and Corbières.

Escorted foodie tour and cooking
What makes French food special? We think it’s the small producers; the bakers, the butchers, the cheese makers, the sausage curers, the vegetable growers and the hundreds of others who continue to make their products using traditional methods that haven’t changed for years. Spend the morning visiting some of these artisans, in and around Carcassonne then head back to a beautiful 18th Century townhouse to prepare a fabulous lunch using the products we’ve sourced and learn a little of the food traditions of the region. Over lunch you’ll taste some delicious handmade wines from vignerons that are dedicated to producing quality wines from their tiny vineyards and learn a little about food and wine matching. The price is €95 per person which includes 3 course Lunch and wine.
